lyrics
It's easy to forget sunny days
Never remembering a smiling face
Ephemeral experiences
Transitory existence
Muzzling peace
Suffer a thousand lives
Never knowing what one meant
Locked within a paradox
Limited by human perception
Blocked and forever lost
Deception at utmost perfection
Faulty faculties
Corrupted capabilities
Speech in place of silence
Resounds beyond boundries
Of where one cannot speak
Of where one cannot think
Repetitive attempts
Along with incessant failures
To comprehend, or at least pretend
To obtain the view from nowhere
To obtain the truth and transcend

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire

Bought this for Pierce Williams. Everything else is good too, but Pierce is one of the best drummers in death metal. The band is quite cerebral but reasonably accessible. A good mix of technicality, brutality, and atmosphere. Cool vocals. Metallurgical Fire

Beautiful and not-overlong atmospheric moments as natural breaths between hard hitting passages and a strong musical theme throughout the work make this an album worth experiencing. It's hard to listen to only one song here without listening to them all which I think says a lot about the consistency and balance of the track list. I have been converted and am now a Phrenelith fan! aminimal_
